French Culture Club
An ideal opportunity to celebrate and learn more about French culture whilst picking up some French idioms and phrases along the way. Open to all year groups.
German LS Games Club
Open to First and Second Formers, we play German card or board games, enjoy drawing games, learn stories and songs and eat treats!
Languages Puzzle Club
Are you interested in English or other modern and classical languages? Do you like solving puzzles? Then come to the ‘Languages Puzzle Club’. No knowledge of other languages is necessary. You just need to have a flair for spotting patterns, drawing logical conclusions and then make predictions about how language works to make up new words and phrases. Enhance your analytical skills, boost your creativity, improve your communication skills and build confidence in dealing with new languages. Open to all year groups.
Spanish Society
This group meets weekly and is for pupils who have prior experience of Spanish and Latin American culture and language. Pupils that have lived in a Spanish-speaking country or who are near-native speakers are especially encouraged to attend. Card games, board games, Spanish music and the latest trends have all been offered by our native Spanish teacher and enjoyed by pupils. For a taste of modern Spain culture and the chance to maintain language skills by having fun, the Spanish Department looks forward to meeting you at the Spanish Society.
