HOW TO SURVIVE AND THRIVE AT ST ALBANS SCHOOL

First Form enjoyed their first
PSHEE day Surviving and Thriving at
St Albans School

To help our new pupils settle in, this term the theme of PSHEE lessons is Surviving and Thriving at St Albans School.

The first PSHEE lesson began with presentations by older pupils who talked about their own experiences of settling in at the School. They also gave their advice and some helpful tips to our new First Form pupils. At the end of the morning, the boys attended a CPR course, where they learnt resuscitation skills. Pupils also enjoyed a School values workshop and a health and wellbeing talk.

A highlight for most pupils was the Healthy Cooking Workshop provided by our catering team, Accent. Working together in pairs, pupils were provided with all the ingredients to create a vegan and a vegetarian wrap.

It was a very successful and enjoyable PSHEE day that left pupils feeling more equipped for school life.
