A real-life Hispanic experience
was enjoyed by our pupils when guests from St Albans College Buenos Aires joined in with our Spanish classes. Third Form beginners were able to greet and introduce themselves as well as practise asking introductory questions. Meanwhile, in our A Level Lower Sixth Form class, pupils enjoyed one-to-one structured listening and conversation practice on A Level topics with our visitors. Classrooms were vibrant with energetic Spanish chatter and it was a fabulous linguistic and cultural experience for our language learners. Pupils have formed new friendships and hope to stay in touch with each other. As we said adiós to our guests, they had lunch and prepared for friendly rugby and hockey matches at Woollams.
