DRAMA PUPILS AT THE EDINBURGH FESTIVAL FRINGE
In August, the Drama Department performed for the third time at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival with new writing from last year’s Upper Sixth Form student Ross McIntyre (OA 2023), focused on themes of self-identity, growing up and friendship. Students were up and out each morning promoting their show on the famous 'Royal Mile' before performing to a healthy crowd at their 'Space' venue. There was a packed schedule of shows for the cast to watch each evening from an immersive experience in an underground tunnel, to a shipping container in complete darkness. It was Mrs Drucker who won the award for seeing the most shows, with a total of eighteen across four days!
Ms Hanneghan-Birt would like to thank the group for their maturity and resilience over the course of this project along with Mr Lewis and Mrs Drucker for giving up their time to support it.
