This year, the Sport Department launched ‘Rugby Week,’ a new initiative in the rugby programme. From Tuesday 26 - Friday 29 September, rugby matches were played at Woollams every evening for nearly every team in the School. Opponents included: Watford Grammar School for Boys; Parmiter's School; and St Edmund’s College.
The aim of the week is to showcase St Albans School rugby whilst creating some fantastic memories for the pupils involved. It was a new and exciting experience for all players and we demonstrated a high level of rugby across all age groups. We are proud of the hard work that the pupils put in to achieve this standard. Participation levels from all involved were exceptional, exemplifying the students’ enthusiasm towards rugby.
