HISTORY TRIP TO EDINBURGH
12 Upper Sixth Form pupils had the opportunity to visit Edinburgh to learn more about the city’s witchcraft trials in the 16th and 17th centuries. The group visited Holyrood Palace and enjoyed an after-dark ghost walk through the tunnels and around the graveyards of the city. A trip out to North Berwick gave the students the opportunity to visit St Andrew Kirk, site of a Witches' Sabbath (gathering), followed by fish and chips overlooking the Kirk.
