GREEN COUNCIL WINS GREEN FLAG AWARD

I am pleased to share with you our re-accreditation as an Eco-Schools Green Flag holder. This is a reflection of the dedication of our Green Council members with special mention to Green Council prefect, Daniel, who put a lot of time in to ensure our application was successful.

Highlights from the Eco Schools Team report include:

Your Eco-Code is very punchy, clear and easy to digest for those that see it. It’s a direct call to action. We love this!
Your Eco-Committee were elected democratically, which is a fair and mature approach.
Your Action Plan shows that your Eco-Committee have carefully considered how they can involve their entire school in their planned Eco-Schools’ activities to achieve maximum impacts and raise awareness amongst their school community.
You have provided practical and fun curriculum examples.
You have worked with a variety of different individuals and organisations including The Born Free Foundation and your local MP.
Your Green Council has been hugely successful in embedding environmental issues within your school, well done!
