CAROL SERVICES
On the evening of 13 and the morning of 14 December, the School held its annual Christmas Carol Services. Pupils, parents, OAs, staff and guests gathered in St Albans Cathedral to delight in the sounds of a selection of readings and carols.
The service opened in the traditional way with Once in Royal David's City followed by Bible readings and poetry interspersed with carols and anthems. The choir was on excellent form, singing music from the sixteenth to the twenty-first centuries, including There is a maid composed by our Head of School, John-Ellis.
To close the service, a blessing was given and a collection was held in aid of SCOPE. It was wonderful to finish the term together this way and well done to all involved!
