Each Friday, a group of pupils meet as part of the School’s LGBT+ Club – new this year – to share history, enjoy a sense of community, and meet with fellow queer people and our allies.
Led by the Diversity Prefects and helped by Mr Olivas Ramos and Ms Walker, we’ve learnt about various identities under the LGBTQ+ umbrella, how the treatment of homosexuality has changed in the armed forces, discussed queer representation in film, and much more. We celebrate the lives and identities of queer people, share our own experiences, and – occasionally – laugh at Ethan’s weekly meme.
