CROSS COUNTRY & RELAY RACES

It's been a busy few weeks for cross country! In January the Senior Cross Country Team competed in the Knole Run in Sevenoaks, Kent. All runners performed well with some outstanding performances from Hugo who finished 2^nd for us in the team event and 31^st individually; Mylo who scored 3^rdfor us, which was all-the-more impressive as he was competing in an Under-18 race as a Fifth Former; and Ben who scored 1^st for us and finished 17^th individually.

We also competed at King Henry VIII Relays in Coventry. The School hasn't missed a race since 1973! We improved on last year’s position by finishing 14^th in a much stronger field (over 60 teams starting) and it was great for our younger runners to take part in our B Team.

In early February our Senior Boys' Team competed in the Herts Cross Country Championships. Our best finishes were Dylan 6^th, Ben at 7^th and Hugo in 9^th place. Dylan and Ben have both been selected to represent Herts at the prestigious English Schools Cross Country on 16 March.

Finally, our most recent race saw both our Senior Boys' and Girls' Teams win gold at last week's Radley Relay in Oxfordshire!
