MUSIC EVENTS
There has been a plethora of brilliant musical events in recent weeks showcasing our talented pupils, including GCSE and A Level Recitals, Chamber Music Concert, multiple lunchtime concerts, Jazz Evening, Rock Concert and House Music Competition.
The Jazz Evening was truly a treat, featuring classics from Sinatra and Chet Baker and some incredible voice and saxophone solos!
Thank you for the generosity of all who attended; a total of £572.52 was raised in aid of Cancer Research UK.

Possibly the noisiest of all our concerts, our annual Rock Concert was a great success! Particular highlights included Radiohead’s Just, Blur’s Parklife, Jet's Are You Gonna Be My Girl and an acoustic rendition of Oasis' Talk Tonight.
We ended the Spring Term with our whole School House Music Competition. This event has everyone buzzing as solo performances, acoustic ensembles, rock ensembles and finally House song groups perform to win the House Music Cup.
The House songs performed were:

They included choreographed dance, pom poms, a dragon puppet, and a fantastic harmony from Teni (L6).
