ATHLETICS AND RUGBY SUCCESS
We've had a fantastic start to the Athletics season with the Senior Athletics Team posting their highest place yet at the Guy Butler Shield competition! Only nine points separated us from the winners, Eton College.
Particular mention to:
Jack, our Track Athlete of the Day, who ran a School record of 10.93s in the 100m.
The Senior relay team, who broke the School record of 43.89s with Jake running the last leg.
Henry ran a School record in Senior 400m of 49.6s.
Congratulations to our Upper Sixth Form pupils Jack, Tayo and Charlie on signing professional contracts with Saracens!
Over the past years, our relationship with Saracens has blossomed, with multiple pupils signing on to Saracens Academy. Lower Sixth Form pupil Asa is also a Saracens U18 Academy player and has been playing in England camps for the past few weeks, and Fifth Form pupils Emmanuel, James and Sam, are involved in the Saracens U16-17 setup.
I'm grateful for the opportunity and excited for next year!
