FIRST AND THIRD FORM PSHEE DAYS
The First Form had a morning of engaging talks on the topics of self-esteem and life after school from Keagan Witts (OA 2015), and internet safety from Neil Sinclair, with a focus on the longevity of images and opinions on the Internet.
The Third Form learned about drug addiction, from its effects to common misconceptions. A play and session with ‘Tip of the Iceberg Theatre Company’ encouraged pupils to think critically about their understanding of what the term ‘drug’ means, and how addicts and addiction are portrayed in the media, accompanied by a lecture from ‘It Happens Education’ on substance abuse.
