GEOGRAPHY TRIP TO RIVER LEA
On two consecutive days in June the Fourth Form GCSE Geography pupils travelled to the River Lea to investigate the complex interaction of factors which lead to downstream changes in a river. They learned how to use a wide range of methods to measure river variables and discussed and evaluated their sampling strategies, all of which will serve as a great preparation for their written fieldwork paper next summer. The sun shone brilliantly on both days and the pupils enjoyed paddling in the refreshing cool water whilst developing their learning.
