SCHOOL GENERAL ELECTION
In line with the recent general election, we hosted our very own hustings, with A Level Politics pupils representing the five major UK parties - the Greens, Conservatives, Labour, Liberal Democrats and Reform UK.
Our pupils did a fantastic job selling their parties' best policies, whilst deftly side-lining their more difficult perspectives. Their well-informed speeches, great challenges, and memorable refrains kept everyone engaged whilst encouraging greater political awareness amongst our pupils.

The total number of votes cast across St Albans School at the UK parliamentary election on 4 July 2024 was 417 out of a registered voting population of 801.
We welcomed candidates for St Albans to speak to our pupils and staff and answer their questions. Every session was very well-attended and ended in spirited Q&A's with some very thoughtful and well-informed questions from pupils.
