WELCOME FROM JOE SILVESTER

Welcome to the first edition of Voices for the new academic year. I am delighted to have joined the St Albans School community as the new Headmaster, and I am very much looking forward to getting to know you and your children in the coming weeks. The start of term is always an exciting time and some of the enthusiasm and energy of our new arrivals is captured in this edition, alongside coverage of events and achievements from the summer break and early weeks of the new term. It has been a case of this term starting as we mean to go on – with a huge variety of co-curricular activities on offer to all pupils alongside the academic and sporting programme. Voices can only ever capture a fraction of what is happening, but I do hope it will give you some insight into the first three packed weeks of term. Happy reading!
