FOCUS ON PSHEE
SECOND FORM, THIRD FORM, FOURTH FORM
We offer a rich and interesting PSHEE curriculum, and this month, we explored just some of the activities and workshops going on around School.
What do people compliment you on? This was one of many questions which our Second Formers enthusiastically answered in their quest to know themselves better. Their workshops also covered goal setting and how to change one's habits: an overall very interesting self-development deep dive.
The Third Form have been applying their new digital skills from Learning to Learn to the PSHEE curriculum, preparing and delivering some fantastic presentations on the School Values. They also took part in a series of engaging workshops on respecting one another's differences, and treating everyone with kindness.
The Fourth Form spent an interesting day learning about masculinity, with pupils asking insightful questions about how to recognise when a behaviour is a ‘toxic’ expression of masculinity, or a healthy one. In a workshop from Tip of the Iceberg, pupils learned about emotional regulation, and developing the self-awareness to think before reacting out of anger, frustration or defensiveness.
