LOWER SCHOOL CHARITY CHALLENGE

In October our Lower School pupils were challenged to raise as much money as possible for charity by selling whatever they wished (within reason) over a single 20-minute breaktime. The ensuing bedlam involved high-pitched haggling and impassioned pleas to purchase various sugary goods at allegedly 'bargain prices'.

Despite the din, it was fantastic to see our pupils embrace the challenge so enthusiastically, and channel their energy into a good cause. The grand total came to £307.17, so very well done to our First and Second Formers! The proceeds went to Cancer Research, Water Aid, Make a Wish and Children's Cancer Care.
