Our Second Form pupils enjoyed a lively evening of galette-creation in honour of the festival of Epiphany. Epiphany is widely celebrated across France, and this event offered our young pupils the chance to learn some French baking vocabulary and traditions hands on!

Each team busily cut out their pastry dough and filled it with delicious chocolate ganache, finishing the task with some elaborate decorative techniques in a bid to win the title of ‘Le Meilleur Patissier’ (The Best Baker).

The technical galette-making challenge was followed up by a subtitled French Epiphany video and a session of biscuit decorating.
