HOUSE D&T COMPETITION
The challenge for this year's Design and Technology House Competition was to create a “Product in a Tin”. The brief encouraged innovative thinking, asking pupils to design a product with a clear use and purpose, such as protecting or carrying something, aiding communication, or help to learn something new.
The competition saw an impressive range of creative entries, from a twist-lock travel light to a portable slot-together cutlery set. The judges were impressed by the ingenuity and effort shown by all participants.
Renfrew House emerged victorious, securing first place, followed by Hampson in second place. A special mention goes to our top three individual contributors: Fourth Former Thomas (Hampson), Second Former James (Renfrew), and Second Former Arjan (Renfrew) whose prototypes demonstrated exceptional creativity and practicality.
The judges were impressed by the ingenuity and effort shown by all participants.
