INVESTIGATING INVESTMENT CLUB
Investment Club is a popular new co-curricular activity in which pupils learn the rules of investment, and keep abridge of market trends across the world.
We spoke to some pupils about why they joined the club and what they have enjoyed so far.
I joined the Investment Club because I wanted to learn more about managing finances and understanding how investments work. Currently, I’m enjoying exploring real-world financial strategies and collaborating with my peers on exciting projects.
At the start of the year I decided to take my first step into investing. Mr Rindfleisch helped me to decide what I should invest in and how there are risks involved. He taught the basics and beyond, allowing me to invest confidently and responsibly. Even though I have only been at Investment Club for a term I already know what I should and shouldn't do .
I joined Investment Club because I have always been curious about what investing is and how it works. We are learning what stock, shares and commodities are, and where and how to invest.
I joined Investment Club as, outside of school, I have invested money into an index fund, and I wanted to know what the person managing it was doing with my money. I enjoy going to Investment Club as I have learnt about the different actions you can take when trading stocks or other commodities.
