Third and Fourth Formers enjoyed an evening at the English National Opera in the magnificent surroundings of the London Coliseum. For most of the boys, this was their first trip to the opera - and what better way to start than Puccini'sTosca? A tragic story of passion and jealousy, that tells the story of the tempestuous opera singer Floria Tosca, as she fights to save her lover Cavaradossi from the sadistic police chief Scarpia.
A Level Chemistry students enjoyed an interesting lecture series of Science: Live! in London. Five chemists discussed burning issues and showcased the latest research, taking students from key concepts to cutting-edge science and future directions in style. Topics covered in the talks included Nerve Agents, Atmospheric chemistry, battery chemistry and the periodic table.
