CHINESE NEW YEAR

The Year of the Snake has begun, according to the Chinese lunisolar calendar! To celebrate, Third and Fifth Form Mandarin learners enjoyed lessons of meditative calligraphy and some interesting Chinese riddlesolving.

Our Second Form took their learning outside the classroom with a visit to the British Museum and Chinatown.

The mandarin trip was awesome! Going to the British Museum was unbelievably fascinating and interesting to learn about the past of the world. The food that we had at Chinatown was amazing and there was loads for each person, we even got a chance to get takeaway! If I had to describe this trip in three words, I would say educative fantastic and enjoyable.
