A group of 23 musicians experienced a wonderful concert at the Royal Festival Hall courtesy of the Philharmonia Orchestra. The (many) pianists in the group enjoyed the superbly charismatic Michelle Cann's performance of Beethoven's Fourth Piano Concerto, and in the second half they were treated to Strauss's Also Sprach Zarathustra. As you can see from the photos, pupils experienced the power of the orchestra's augmented brass and percussion sections (and the organ...) at full blast!
