SHINING BRIGHT IN LIONBOY

Congratulations to our Middle School Drama Club for gaining a second place at the prestigious Welwyn Garden City Youth Drama Festival! The group delivered an outstanding performance of Lionboy by Zizou Corder. The talented cast captivated the audience with their portrayal of Charlie Ashanti, a young boy with a remarkable ability to speak to cats. This special gift aids Charlie on his thrilling journey to rescue his kidnapped parents, who have discovered a cure for asthma.

Throughout the performance, Charlie's adventure took him into the heart of danger and excitement as he joined forces with a group of circus lions. The captivating story, filled with twists and turns, kept the audience on the edge of their seats!

The Drama Club's hard work and dedication truly shone through, thanks to the commitment of both the cast and crew. Each actor gave their all, and backstage the Lower Sixth Form technical team ensured the production ran smoothly from start to finish. Well done to everyone involved for their exceptional effort in bringing this remarkable story to life.
