During Half Term, some of our Art students had the opportunity to explore the vibrant and cosmopolitan city of Berlin, visiting galleries and significant historical sites.
The trip began at the East Side Gallery where they viewed more than 100 murals painted on the Berlin Wall bringing the history of the divided city to life. This was followed by a guided tour of street art led by a local guide.
Throughout the tour, they visited remarkable sites including the Holocaust Memorial and the poignant underground sculpture commemorating the Nazi book-burning.
