Our Lower School pupils were transported on an out-of-this-world language adventure through an engaging and interactive French play. The performance told the story of Jack, a curious young boy who wins a golden ticket to space. But there was an unexpected twist - everything and everyone aboard the spaceship spoke only French!
Throughout the play, pupils were invited on stage to join Jack on his journey, helping him make sense of his new surroundings. This immersive experience offered a wonderful opportunity for pupils to practise their French vocabulary and listening skills in a lively and memorable setting.
Following the performance, the children continued their learning back in the classroom with themed French worksheets, designed to reinforce key phrases from the play and further develop their language confidence. The interactive format sparked curiosity, encouraged participation, and made language learning a fun and collaborative experience.
