The Stephen Hawking Society welcomed Professor Jonathan Napier (Rothamsted Research), who presented on the topic Making Fish Oils in Plants – how Plant Biotechnology can contribute to a Greener Future. His research group relocated to Rothamsted Research (Harpenden) in 2003 where he is currently Science Director. In his talk he discussed his Camelina Omega-3 Fish Oils project and how it is globally recognised as an exemplar of the power of plant biotechnology.

Adam provided valuable insights into studying Economics at Durham University, Aidan M discussed the challenges and opportunities in Maths and Computer Science at Imperial College London, while Aidan T shared his journey in Engineering at the University of Bristol. Their first-hand experiences offered our students a deeper understanding of university life and academic expectations.
