We recently welcomed back Jack Meadows OA as the first recipient of the Lt Col Kenny Everitt Trophy for Leadership in the CCF. Jack is currently studying Computer Science at University of Exeter where he is a member of Exeter University Officer Training Corps and has been shooting with the University rifle club, building on the skills he acquired within the CCF and our own shooting club.
He recently returned from a UOTC Adventure Training trip skiing in Austria, where he had the opportunity tackle the Royal Marines Endurance Course. He will be travelling to Northern Ireland this summer for a two-week training exercise.
Jack made a fantastic contribution to the Corps and the award is recognition of not just that contribution but the excellent progress he made in his own personal journey as a leader. Jack hopes to pursue a career in the Army following his graduation.
