On Wednesday 25 June, we were pleased to welcome back 14 OAs to shoot for the Coles Trophy. This is a yearly competition between the School and Old Albanians and once again this year we were joined by Derek Coles, whose father the trophy remembers.
The competition proved to be a close match once again, with the OAs starting strongly and leading the competition until the very final round when they were just pipped at the finish. Top scorer on the day was Samir and top handicap score was Yuri, both form the School team.
Outside of the range, shooters old and new mixed and mingled, reminiscing about past exploits and forging connections for the future.
The shoot was followed by a presentation of the trophy by Derek to the School Team Co-Captains, and Owen Simmons to the winners of County Competitions this year.
