The First Form enjoyed a fascinating talk about Jewish Life from Rabbi Berger as part of their RPE curriculum and Inter Faith Week. The Rabbi shared lots of interesting information about Judaism, showed pupils some important symbolic Jewish items and answered a range of impressive questions.
A few pupils also took part in the event for Inter Faith Week at St Albans Cathedral, taking the audience on a journey of reflection and shared readings and songs on the theme of peace and justice.
Olivia (OA 2022) returned to the School to deliver a lecture about the effects of meat consumption. Her engaging and thought-provoking presentation spoke about the true cost of dairy and meat farming, and what it is doing to the planet, giving everyone who attended something to consider.
On a beautiful Sunday morning at the Childwickbury Estate, opposite Woollam Playing Fields, pupils helped to plant a new hedge full of rowan, rose and blackthorn for future generations. Special guest was Daisy Cooper, MP for St Albans, with the families of Arjun, Matthew, Mr Russell and Dr Tanner.
