On the evening of 14 and the morning of 15 December, the School held its annual Christmas Carol Services. Pupils, parents, OAs, staff and guests gathered in St Albans Cathedral to delight in the sounds of a selection of readings and carols.
The service opened in the traditional way with Once in Royal David's City followed by readings of bible passages and poetry interspersed with well-known congregational carols. The choir, directed by Dr Saunders, was on excellent form, singing music from the sixteenth to the twenty-first centuries.
To close the service, a Blessing was given and a collection was held in aid of Mind in Herts. It was wonderful to finish the term together this way and well done to all involved!
