In preparation for their study of Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar, First Form pupils had a great time depicting some famous scenes as freeze frames during their English lesson without any costumes. Pupils practiced for the first half of the lesson after which they had fun showing each other their freeze frames.
In celebration of Chinese New Year, pupils were delighted to have the opportunity to work with paper, calligraphy and printmaking to create New Year's wishes during their Mandarin lesson. A great chance to enhance their cultural awareness alongside developing their language skills.
Lower Sixth Form pupils enjoyed a demonstration of a laser interferometer to inspect during their physics lesson, learning about waves of light and sound. Various lenses helped to direct the laser and focus its redirected strength to a focus point. A smoke machine helped to capture the laser's trajectory.
