Assembly
At last Monday’s Assembly we came together as a whole School community to mark Holocaust Memorial Day, when we remember the millions of people murdered in the Holocaust, under Nazi Persecution, and in the genocides which followed in Cambodia, Rwanda, Bosnia, and Darfur. We welcomed Natalie Meltzer who shared with us the moving story of her Grandfather, Harry Balsam, a Holocaust survivor. We heard about his continuous strength and determination despite the horrific experiences he endured. Five pupils across the School also lit candles together in remembrance of the victims of genocide.
